Presenters

Christie King, CAI, BAS, AARE, is the founder and president of C King Benefit Auctions. She started her company in 2007 after working for more than 20 years in her family business, J. P. King Auction Company. Ms. King is a fourth generation auctioneer and holds the Benefit Auctioneer Specialists (BAS) designation through the National Auctioneers Association, where she currently sits on the Board of Directors. She works mainly with non-profit organizations throughout the southeast and is a highly sought after speaker with various groups nationwide.

Gretchen Carter is an Area Marketing Manager at Auctionpay. Prior to joining Auctionpay, she worked from 2000 to 2006 as an Event Coordinator for a private restaurant and club in Roanoke, TX. Gretchen is an active non-profit volunteer and has participated in Metroport Meals on Wheels Annual Wine Dinner, Ft. Worth Zoo's Beastro and Safe Haven's Celebrity Chef event, among others. She is a member of the Greater Southlake Women's Society and is currently serving as their Fundraising Treasurer. She also co-chaired a capital campaign to raise $1.7 million for a new mission building at the Southlake Blvd. Presbyterian Church.
