Karla Ford, Area Marketing Executive, has been a member of the Greater Giving team for over six years. That combination of experience gives her an insider's understanding of the elements needed for planning and executing a successful nonprofit auction—and expertise in identifying what Greater Giving solutions and services will enhance her clients' fundraising efforts.
Richard O'Keef has helped produce over 700 fundraising auctions as a consultant and auctioneer since 1992. He has written a book called Shake the Money Tree: How to Produce a Winning Fundraising Event with a Live and Silent Auction. He teaches that to have a successful fundraising event, it is important to focus on what makes guests feel good about giving. His presentation will explain the tasks that need to be accomplished to inspire guests to be generous, and show how different people need different opportunities to contribute. He is dedicated to helping fundraising organizers everywhere raise more money to help more people.
