Presenters:
David Reynolds began his career as a fundraising auctioneer in 1984 at the Sun Valley Wine Auction. What began as a lark grew into a national force transforming the role of fundraising auctioneer into a new kind of performance art. In addition, David realized early on that the potential for an auction's success is set long before the auctioneer steps on stage. To this end, he works hand in hand with charities throughout the year consulting, brainstorming, and encouraging. His San Francisco firm, Reynolds & Buckley, LLC raises tens of millions of dollars for charities annually and serves over 120 organizations nationwide. Unique in a niche that he created, David's focus is solely on fundraising auctions. He has been at it for 26 years helping children's charities, schools, health care and research organizations, arts groups, zoos and other worthy causes.
Colleen Buckley brings solid marketing skills to the firm she co-founded with her husband, David Reynolds, in 1993. Drawing from experience gained in retail advertising, she brings a unique understanding of the importance of messaging for non-profits. Because she has attended countless auctions, her from-the-audience insights and perspectives are an invaluable resource. Colleen has a keen understanding all the details required to make an event both effective and enjoyable.
Kim Schrage, Area Marketing Manager, Greater Giving, started using Greater Giving solutions as a parent volunteer for her children's school auction in 2002. She was so impressed with the software and the company that she joined the team in 2005. Due to her commitment to area schools and nonprofits, Kim continues to volunteer to assist at a variety of fundraising events, honing her skills in using Greater Giving software to streamline event planning and execution and night-of-event check-in and check-out processes.
