Best Practice for Better Fundraising

Nonprofits and schools that raise money online have found that their efforts can reap big benefits. Online fundraising is considerably cheaper than any other approach, is easier to execute, and can deliver bigger donations on average than offline gifts. Consider these findings from Network for Good:

  • Online giving is cost-effective. It can cost up to $1.25 to raise $1 with direct mail, and over $.63 to raise $1 by phone - but it costs around $.05 to raise $1 online.
  • On average, online gifts are higher than offline gifts. Online givers generally have higher incomes and online giving is naturally more impulsive.
  • About 40% of online giving is done in December, due to the holidays and anticipated end-of-tax-year benefits.

In this webinar, we’ll condense the considerable online fundraising experience of our most successful clients into an hour-long session filled with how-to’s that you can adopt to raise more money online. You’ll learn:

  • Tips for online fundraising success
  • Where to place your Donate Now button
  • What should be on your online donation form
  • How to ‘bump up’ the online donation amount
  • Ways to increase capital campaign donations
  • And more!

to help with the organization of the event but were surprised by how it streamlined the actual collections of the funds.”
