Guido Persch, Vice President of Product and Technology

Guido Persch has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked in software research, system software development, software tools, manufacturing software, and human resource software. Over the last ten years, Guido has focused on software that is easy for consumers to use and makes business processes more efficient, as well as bringing software as a service to market.

Prior to coming to Greater Giving, Guido was the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Unicru in Beaverton, Oregon, which was acquired by Kronos in 2006. At Unicru he was responsible for product development, production engineering, information technology, and system operation for Unicru’s automated hiring solutions.

Before joining Unicru, Guido served as Engineering Animation's (EAI) Vice President of Engineering for the software division. He joined EAI as part of its acquisition of Rosetta Technologies, Inc. where he was Vice President of Engineering over the previous five years. During his time at EAI & Rosetta, he focused on data management, Web technology, document handling, and internationalization of manufacturing software products. Guido has also held technology management positions at Cadre Technologies, Software AG in Germany, and in a joint project of Intel and Siemens.

Guido earned his M.S. in computer science from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He has written more than 30 technical publications on various technology topics.
