Testing Sync 1- Greater Giving Event Software

Once there is a corresponding bidder number in the Auctionpay Master terminal and the computer is connected to the terminal, Sync 1 can be tested:

1.  Check the connections between the computer, and the Auctionpay Master terminal to ensure the syncing cable is securely in place.

2.  Open database in Greater Giving software, and select Data from the top tool bar.

3.  Select "Synchronize with an Auctionpay terminal" from the drop down menu.  

4. Next select Sync 1. Click Next.

5. Click Finish when the sync is complete.

• Bidder numbers that do not exist in the database will be listed in the log. During an event these bidders will be need to be added to the database before proceeding.
