Power Requirements

For indoor events, use a standard 3-prong wall outlet. Greater Giving also highly recommends using a power strip with a surge protector.

For outdoor events using other forms of power such as a generator or backup power supply, plan on a minimum of 1.5 amps per terminal. As an example, for an outdoor event using 10 terminals, Greater Giving suggests at least a 15 amp circuit.

Any extension cords (and/or power strips) used to provide power to the terminals must have a sufficient Amp rating for the number of terminals connected to them.
