Introduction
Welcome to the Auctionpay Registration Volunteer's Online Training. This program will teach you how to use the Auctionpay system and how it relates to the overall auction process.
Auctionpay is a payment processing solution that streamlines the check-in and checkout processes at your events. By electronically capturing many of your guests' credit cards at the beginning of your event, Auctionpay eliminates the need for Express Pay guests to visit cashiering. Instead, they simply pick up their statement of successful bids and go directly to Item Pick-up.
Because guests' credit cards are registered, there's no need for staff or volunteers to manually imprint cards and re-key them at the end of the event. The result is a better experience for staff, volunteers, and guests.
The focus of the Registration Volunteer Training will be on how you will greet guests and register their cards using the Auctionpay system. It's a simple, one minute process for each guest, and we'll show you how easy it is to streamline your auction.
Because YOU, the Registration Volunteer, are usually the first person that a guest speaks to when they arrive at your event, it is important that you make a good first impression by knowing:
