Registering Guests
When you ask your guests what form of payment they want to use, MOST guests will offer you a credit card. Here's how you register their credit card with the Auctionpay system. Next, we'll tell you what to do with guests who don't want to use a credit card.
If the guest offers you their credit card, follow these simple instructions:

Register the guest's credit card through the Auctionpay terminal.

When prompted, enter the guest's Bidder #.

When prompted, re-enter the Bidder # to confirm.

The system will print a receipt for the guest to sign. This is the merchant receipt that your organization keeps.

While the guest signs the merchant receipt, press [OK] on the screen or the [ENTER] button to print a second receipt for the guest to keep.

Give the guest the "customer receipt" and put the signed receipt in the cashbox or envelope at registration.

When you enter a bidder number, the system will check to see if the number has been entered previously. If it has, you will see "duplicate bidder" displayed.
If the terminal is unable to read the customer's credit card, try scanning it again or ask for another card. If another card is not available, you can manually enter the credit card number and expiration date. From the main screen, begin typing the guest's card number and the entry field will appear. Complete the card number and press Enter. Then, follow the instructions to enter the expiration date. When prompted, enter the guest's bidder number and then re-enter the bidder number to confirm. Receipts are printed and handled as above.
